Amanda Seyfried graced the Academy Awards last night in LA looking completely and utterly stunning in a long Armani gown. "It's really tight, but it's beautiful," she told USA TODAY's Andrea Mandell.

Did it affect what she ate for lunch? "No, I eat what I want. I have to eat before I sit in a chair for four hours."



Amanda was there to present the Oscar for Best Song along with a very nervous Miley Cyrus (bless her).

Amanda Seyfried has a tattoo of the word 'Minge' on her foot.

The American actress decided to get the etching - which is a British slang term for vagina - after her 'Mamma Mia!' co-star Colin Firth used the word repeatedly while filming and found it hilarious when she discovered what it meant.

She told Britain's Glamour magazine: 'My and my best friend Rachel McDowell, who was in 'Mamma Mia!' with me, have matching tattoos, which say 'Minge'. I've never really been a fan of tattoos, but I wanted to see what it felt like. Rachel has a lot of them.

'Anyway, Colin Firth used to say that word on the set and Rachel had to explain to me what it meant. So it's on my foot. It's to make me laugh, and every time I look at it, I do.'

The blonde beauty - who is dating actor Dominic Cooper - admits she always laughs at crude things and isn't as innocent as she looks.

She said: 'I have a dirty sense of humour. I can be blunt and vulgar.'

Kristen Bell had just finished being a total bitch to Christina Aguilera. 'No, no!' Kristen explained hastily, lest I misunderstand.

Kristen stars opposite Aguilera and Cher in the film musical Burlesque, which director Steve Antin has just finished filming in LA.
Aguilera plays a woman who leaves her small-town home and finds work at a nightclub owned by Cher. 'I'm the girl who feels threatened by Christina,' Kristen told me.

'I'm a blonde girl who goes dark to go bad. They didn't buy me as being blonde and bad. They felt my character should be brunette and bad!'

Martin Samuel, the celebrated movie hair stylist (he worked on all the Pirates Of The Caribbean pictures), designed a dark wig for Kristen, although I gather much of his time was spent taking care of Cher's tresses.

Kristen - who plays dancer Nikki - said: "Cher owns the club and we play best friends, I'm her lead dancer and Christina sort of comes in between the two of us and I'm not very happy about that!

"I could talk but I was definitely having to take a breath and I was going, 'I'm in a room with Cher right now', but she's so personable and down-to-earth, it's not really what you expect, she's very easy to be around."

Amanda Seyfried insists she won’t go off the rails like her Mean Girls costar Lindsay Lohan.

The Dear John actress says she always likes to be in control, so would never touch drugs.

“Being out of control is an issue for me,” Amanda told Britain’s Glamour magazine.

“I’m a little anxiety-ridden.

“Therefore I can’t really smoke a joint. I can’t even have a hit. One little inhale and I get so dizzy.”

Amanda — who’s currently dating British actor Dominic Cooper – recently admitted she puts her career ahead of her love life.

“When you are younger and you have to take hold of that career before it disappears, it’s difficult to maintain any kind of status in Hollywood,” said the 24-year-old.

“It’s really frustrating but it’s true — sometimes you do have to sacrifice love.”

According to sources, Kristen Bell is to hold her wedding to Dax Shepard in her home town of Detroit.

I don’t think I’m a workaholic but currently, I feel like I’m at a really lovely place and I’m grateful to be where I am so I like working too, but I know what my priorities are.”
