Seyfried Talks Chloe
Atom Egoyan’s new thriller Chloe explores themes of consuming jealousy and passion with a smart European sensibility that puts an exciting spin on the love triangle genre with Amanda Seyfried and Julianne Moore at the center. The story follows a woman (Julianne Moore) as she hires a prostitute (Amanda Seyfried) to test her husband’s (Liam Neeson) fidelity. Seyfried talks about the upcoming film:
On the challenges of the film:
Amanda Seyfried: I almost didn’t want to do the movie. I got really scared and was trying to think of a way to get out of it. I was so intimidated that i didn’t think i could actually do it. I’ve gotten by only playing versions of myself as most young actresses do. It was the best opportunity that’s come up for me and the most complex female character. It was clearly the riskier choice, but it was also the better choice. The risk factor came with that I might not be able to pull it off and also the nudity could potentially create some damage with my American audience.
On her characters:
AS: I just don’t see Chloe as an antagonist. In the beginning she’s creepy, and you don’t trust her at all, but then you start seeing some deeply human qualities like the vulnerability and the depth she goes. You see this lost girl falling in love with somebody. That’s what made me fall in love with her. I knew her so well, and I just feel it would be hard not to appreciate her. She doesn’t have those nasty motives. She just felt something that made her need it and become addicted to it and obsessed with it, which was love. That was her only motive to have that forever.
On being intimate:
AS: The love scene. I’ll never forget that.
On Atom Egoyan:
AS: You can’t go wrong with Atom Egoyan. He’s his own thing. He never does anything against his instinct, and his instinct is always so specific and rooted in something so real. He has such passion for everything he does even when he doesn’t write it. I think this was daring for him, but he felt so connected to it and that’s even better.

Bell Thinks Dog Is A Vampire
Hollywood actress Kristen Bell is scared of her pet dog as she thinks it is a "real live vampire" which will live forever.
The `Astro Boy` star, who adopted a 12-year-old rescue dog after the pooch was left living in an animal rescue centre in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina has admitted she doesn`t like the animal which has toilet problems and is convinced it will never die, Absolute Now reported.
"I don`t really like her. I actually think she might be a real live vampire and never die. She`s almost totally blind and deaf. When you are in the house, you can hear her pooping from the other room. It`s like bowling balls hitting the floor!," Bell said.

Chloe Helped Seyfried Develop
Amanda Seyfried has come a long way from the dimwitted Karen in "Mean Girls," having recently wrapped a four-year run on HBO's "Big Love" and achieving box-office success with "Dear John." But that's not to say that the actress isn't worried about getting stereotyped. She doesn't want to become synonymous with the horror genre after "Jennifer's Body," for instance, or even as a romantic lead due to her work on "Dear John."
In order to combat typecasting, Seyfried took the radical route of becoming a call girl and seducing Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore. Not in reality, of course, but as the title character in "Chloe," a seductive thriller that Seyfried intentionally pursued to avoid getting pinned to any one genre.
"I'm so many levels beyond [what I'm used to] because ['Chloe' is] so intense, and it really is a character that's just kind of sick, and that's really fun to play," Seyfried told MTV News. "It makes me feel like I've evolved a little bit as an actor too. I mean, maybe I haven't, but it makes me feel like I have!"
Seyfried said she's learned a lot about her craft from co-stars like Meryl Streep in "Mamma Mia!" and Moore in "Chloe." "When you watch somebody like Julianne and Meryl and you can be around them for 12 hours a day, you absorb it all, kind of what they're doing, how they behave, how they respond to things. It's something that becomes innately part of how I behave as well," Seyfried said. "[Moore is] very professional and she separates her work from her real life, her family, and she's completely focused at all times, but she can also have fun between takes."
Beyond acting, Seyfried learned something else from Moore: "She's a great kisser! She's beautiful. She's a great actress. What more can I say? It was amazing."
Meanwhile. Seyfried has admitted to suffering bouts of anxiety. The actress said, " I can instantly make myself feel scared in some way. Personally, I'm a bit obsessive.
"I have anxiety. It's not generalized. It's more specific to obsessive-compulsive anxiety," she says.
"I can talk through it. And I'm working on it, because it definitely is a dent in my life. It means I'm not enjoying a lot of the things I'd really like to be enjoying at this point in my life."
Perhaps that anxiety is the reason she wants anonymity in her life. Seyfried said, "I don’t want to become a brand and I certainly don’t want to have a persona,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Vanity Fair.
“I don’t want to be in magazines everyday, because I don’t want people to get to know one thing.
“I feel like Angelina Jolie can still play a character and you can still get lost in it. Even though she’s all over the place, and that’s unfortunate for her.
“But luckily she still maintains enough anonymity for us to believe her,” she added.

Seyfried Admits To Mamma Mia! 2 Rumours
According to WENN, actress Amanda Seyfried admitted to starting rumors about a Mamma Mia! sequel being in the works, since she's eager to reprise the role of Sophie.
The actress played the lead role in the 2008 film based on the music from Abba. Seyfried's co-star in the film, Dominic Cooper, is now her real-life love.
Last year, it was rumored that director Phyllida Lloyd was working on a sequel- but now Seyfried says she took the gossip and spread it.
According to reports, she told Cinema blend, "I think I might have started that rumour. I started sharing a rumour that I heard that there was a Mamma Mia! 2."
But the actress now admits that a sequel is very unlikely, and even if there were one, neither her, Cooper, or co-star Pierce Brosnan would be involved.
She said, "My boyfriend (Cooper) had talked to Phyllida (Lloyd) and she said that if they do Mamma Mia! they are going to use a whole new cast and do a prequel. And then that's when I said no, it's not going to happen...And Pierce (Brosnan) recently said that it wasn't going to happen either. So sadly no."
