Julie Gonzalo has been cast in new NBC pilot Day One.

The actress will play a character who feels guilty about her inability to save her fiance's life. Derek Mio ("Greek") and Addison Timlin ("Cashmere Mafia") have also joined the cast.

Jason Dohring has been cast in new pilot from The CW Body Politic.

The show is a look at Washington politics through the eyes of optimistic up-and-coming staffers.

Dohring will play a reporter with the Washington Post.

Kristen Bell's early career took place mainly on the stage. Could she be heading back to star in the musical adaptation of cult flick Heathers.

Andy Flickman who is developing the musical has been doing readings this week in Endeavor's screening room. The readings saw Kristen Bell playing the lead. Other actors included Christian Campbell as J.D., with Jenna Leigh Green ("Wicked"), BrokeDown Cadillac lead singer Corri English and Christine Lakin (the CW's "Valentine") as the three Heathers.

The actors doing the reading will not necessarily do the musical; that depends on their availability when the play is mounted.

Spotted: Kristen Bell In New York on February 18th, dining out with friends at new seafood restaurant Flex Mussels. The actress expecially loved the Flex Fries. For dessert, the chef sent over two orders of the eatery's homemade donuts.
