WhereLA.com are running a great interview with Kristen Bell where she talks about her LA lifestyle. The actress reveals what she does in LA, where she shops and eats, and her upcoming films Astroboy and Couples Retreat:

Question. Pre-Veronica Mars, you starred in A Little Night Music at Los Angeles Opera. What was that like?
Answer. That was really fun! The scary thing about that is, that was five years ago, so I was 24 or 25, and I was playing a 13-year-old. To me that's scary, I don't know about anyone else. But it was a wonderful cast—it was Victor Garber and a bunch of amazing people.... I'm definitely itching to jump back on stage. I miss the theater so much, and especially musical theater. I'm rehearsing this weekend for the reading of the Heathers musical.

Q. When did you make the move to L.A.?
A. It's actually because of doing Reefer Madness. Andy Fickman, who directed it, and some of the other cast members from Los Angeles had convinced me to try it out in L.A., and I was so nervous to take that risk—you know, move to a strange place.... So they said, "We'll be your family, we'll take care of you," and I lived on Kevin Murphy's couch for four months—Kevin Murphy is the writer of Reefer Madness. So they kind of took care of me, and I just started auditioning and was very, very lucky.

As funny as this video is, it's for an serious cause. Kristen Bell, Ryan Hansen, Ryan's lovely (and pregnant!) wife Amy, and their dear friend Jed Jenkins are all ardent supporters of Invisible Children. The charity organisation publicises the plight of the children of Uganda caught up in the civil war.

On 25th April, supporters of IC will unite to see Joesph Kony arrested and the children that he has kidnapped returned back to their families. It's a day many have been waiting for. Please support this event by visiting Invisible Children Presents The Rescue.

PopWrap caught up with Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas to talk about his new show Party Down.

Kristen Bell recently joined regular cast members Ryan Hansen and Ken Marino in what was a Mars reunion. Thomas said:

" Oh man, it was great. It was wonderful having her around because she's such a professional. The "Party Down" set tends to get a little loosey goosey because it's filled with all these comedians. Then Kristen shows up and is so perfect with all the aspects of being an actor -- so sharp, finding her light and on script that it injected a sense of "oh, this is how other TV shows work" to the set. There is no one better than Kristen."

It wasn't just Kristen who joined the party. Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring and Alona Tal have all made guest appearances.

Kristen Bell will be appearing at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center's "An Evening With Women" Celebrating Art, Music & Equality" event to be held on 24th April.

Previously known as 'Women's Night,' 'An Evening with Women' will honor lesbian and bisexual women who have made significant contributions to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Event proceeds support the Center's many women-specific services, which include health and medical, legal assistance, cultural programs, domestic violence prevention and education, self-enrichment courses, social events, and discussion groups.

Snyder made food for the crew as well as a Detox Smoothie which Bell nicknamed "Shmoopie".
