For a tiny slip of a thing, Kristen Bell certainly knows how to handle herself. Whether it’s solving crime as the high-school detective Veronica Mars or tangling with Russell Brand in the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, it would be a foolish person who messed with her. Indeed, Brand’s legendary rampantness was summarily tamed by Bell on set.

‘He knew I wouldn’t stand for any of his nonsense,’ she says.

A regular feature on ‘sexiest women on the planet’ lists, Bell is also incredibly warm and funny – in fact, the complete opposite of the character she played in Heroes, Elle Bishop. A sociopath who is blessed with the power of generating electricity from her fingers, Elle wasn’t averse to removing anybody who got in her way.
Bell, 28, is a serious Anglophile, rating Little Britain, The Office and The League Of Gentlemen as some of her favourite comedies. She also loves Manuel in Fawlty Towers. Needless to say, she’s none too happy with Mr Brand...

If Russell had left a message on my grandfather’s answerphone I’d have beaten him up.

It doesn’t surprise me that he did it, as Russell’s whole thing is to push the envelope. Hopefully, he’ll have learned the error of his ways.

Bell walked away with two bags of goodies from this event as she was already a Loomstate fan. “I love their fun animal prints and I love casual clothes,” the actress told PEOPLE.com. “Plus, their cotton tends to be very soft, so I’m looking forward to getting a whole bunch of jammies.”

Kristen looked casual yet gorgeous in Phillip Lim print tank top, rolled-up khaki pants and black shoes which were to die for. She rounded off the outfit with a long beaded necklace. We want this look!! But it wouldn't have been complete without BFFs Sophia Bush (love her) and Hayden Panettiere who posed with Bell.
