Amanda Seyfried has earned herself an MTV Movie Award nomination for Best Female Breakthrough Performance for her role in Mamma Mia!.

The actress faces tough competition from Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), Kat Dennings (Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist), Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana: The Movie), Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical 3: Senior Year).

Meanwhile, Kristen Bell is nominated for Best WTF Moment for the naked break-up scene in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Bell shared the scene with Jason Segal.

The award take place on 31st May.

Kristen Bell has put herself forward to make a guest appearance on Gossip Girl.

The actress who narrates the show said, "I've pitched [exec producer] Josh Schwartz a couple of times for me to be on camera as a waitress or something but he wasn't buying it," Kristen Bell told the New York Daily News. "Hopefully he'll change his mind in the future!"

They marched to Harpo Studios where Oprah Winfrey films her show asking her to rescue them.
